Newborn Care Specialist — West Point Grey, Vancouver
A household in West Point Grey is hiring a daytime newborn care specialist to support a single infant born in July. The role begins ASAP and runs through December 2026. Pay is listed between $30 and $45 per hour. Employment type is not stated. Only candidates located in Canada will be considered.
Schedule:
- Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm

Primary responsibilities include hands-on newborn care and practical support for mom. Tasks reported by the family include soothing, diaper changes, helping establish naps and sleep habits, breastfeeding assistance, bottle sterilization and feeding prep, baby baths, nursery upkeep and baby laundry. The caregiver will also hold the baby so the parent can shower, eat or exercise, and may accompany mom and baby to occasional walks or appointments. The family asks for light meal support and occasional help feeding two cats. A regular cleaner attends the home; no general housekeeping is required.

- Extensive newborn experience and knowledge of infant development, sleep and breastfeeding
- Warm, adaptable, supportive, and comfortable working alongside a parent
- Comfortable around cats; Spanish speakers are especially welcome
