Truck Driver / Equipment Transport Operator — Kitchener, ON
This full-time role is for a driver to operate a Ford F-600 dump truck and haul construction and landscaping equipment on a 14,000 lb equipment trailer. The job involves towing between sites, loading and securing machinery, daily vehicle and trailer checks, and helping the field crew when transport duties are done.
- Location: Kitchener, Ontario (in person)
- Schedule: Full-time with overtime opportunities
- Pay: From $30.00 per hour, with raises based on experience and performance
- Minimum requirements: valid Ontario Class AR (Restricted Class A) licence, valid Ontario Class G licence, clean drivers abstract, prior experience towing and backing equipment trailers, and legal eligibility to work in Canada
- Preferred (can be provided by employer for the right candidate): WHMIS 2015, Working at Heights, Worker Health & Safety Awareness (4-Step), daily vehicle inspection/circle check, and load securement training
- Main duties: operate the F-600 safely, transport and secure equipment, perform inspections, keep truck and trailer in safe condition, assist field crew
