Glass Cutter / Fabricator at Bola Glass Inc — Mississauga, ON
Bola Glass Inc installs shower enclosures, office partitions and railings and is hiring a full-time, in-person glass cutter/fabricator. The role focuses on cutting, shaping and assembling glass components in a warehouse/fabrication area. You will work with hand and power tools, help move materials and check finished pieces for quality.
- Cut and shape glass to meet project specifications using hand tools, power tools and specialized equipment
- Operate forklifts to move raw materials and finished products within the shop
- Measure, assemble and prepare glass components for installation
- Inspect finished items for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
- Keep the workspace clean and organized to support safe operations
- Follow safety procedures when handling heavy or fragile materials
- Assist with inventory control and warehouse organization as required
Required experience includes previous manufacturing or fabrication work, comfort with hand and power tools, and the ability to read measurements and follow technical instructions. Forklift experience is highly desirable. Compensation is listed at $24.60–$32.05 per hour. The role is onsite in Mississauga; the only listed benefit is on-site parking.
