Logistics‑QA Inspector — Lincoln Electric (Hamilton, ON)
Lincoln Electric is recruiting a Logistics‑QA Inspector for its Hamilton facility (Req ID 29851; recruiter: Cecilia Barnes). The position combines shipping coordination, dock supervision and quality checks on incoming, in‑process and finished goods. It requires working with warehouse, production and external carriers to prepare and verify customer shipments.
- Coordinate and schedule shipments with carriers and couriers; maintain shipment records and paperwork.
- Supervise loading area and dock activities, direct driver and loading operations, and ensure packaging secures products for transport.
- Receive and verify purchase orders, count and pick orders manually from the warehouse, and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Perform cycle counts, inspect material receipts, work‑in‑progress and finished goods; inspect weldments prior to painting.
- Manage RMA disposition and credit process for returned goods; enter supplier non‑conformances into the SAP module.
- Liaise with production planning, inventory control and management to prioritize orders cost‑effectively.
- Minimum Grade 12 education.
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office, logistics software, SAP or equivalent).
- About 5 years' experience in a logistics environment; QA experience is preferred.
- Basic ability to read engineering drawings and understand tolerances.
